In 2026, workers renovating a decommissioned beef processing plant in rural Wales discover a sealed wooden crate concealed inside a false wall. The crate contains a strange archive connected to a nearly forgotten late-1960s / early-1970s band called Weasel Knight: original master tapes, acetates, lyric sheets, stage diagrams, posters, photographs, legal notices, correspondence fragments, and damaged ledgers.

The recovered material points to a bizarre but compelling act first formed in 1961 in Planken, Liechtenstein as Weasel Nite — a mod-psychedelic, Beatles-adjacent four-man group that later mutated into the darker, stranger, medievalized act known as Weasel Knight. What began as “the boys from Planken” became something later collectors would describe as psychedelic tavern metal.
